Bio

Nayanna Holley is an L.A. based Singer and Vocal Contractor. She is currently on tour with P!nk. Nayanna is also a current member of NBC’s The Voice House Band led by Paul Mirkovich, and has been for nine seasons. She also performed several seasons in the House Band of American Idol. Her most recent film credits include “The Color Purple”, “The Eternals”, “Encanto”, “Coming 2 America”, and “Mulan”. Nayanna sang with The Weekend for the 2021 Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show. She has also assembled and hired singers, also known as Vocal Contracting, for The Oscars, The Voice, American Idol and The Late Late Show with James Corden to name a few.

For a career spanning over a decade, major tours have included St. Vincent, Kelly Clarkson, Selena Gomez, and Sheryl Crow. Nayanna has also toured internationally with acts including French Rock & Roll icon Johnny Hallyday, British pop star Robbie Williams and Italian singer-songwriter Elisa. She has provided supporting vocals for the likes of Beyoncé, Stevie Wonder, Ed Sheeran, Carrie Underwood, John Legend, Pharrell Williams, Martina McBride, The Roots, Justin Timberlake, Jessie J, Shakira, Ne-Yo, and The Rickey Minor Band. Her vocal performances with Sergio Mendes on Bom Tempo granted her first Latin-Grammy Award win for ‘Best Contemporary Brazilian Pop Album’.

Music education includes a Bachelor's Degree in Jazz Studies from Western Michigan University, a short tenure at the Musician’s Institute in Hollywood, and an emphasis on music at the L.A. County High School for the Arts. 


History

She went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Jazz Studies and Spanish from Western Michigan University. Since 2007, Nayanna has been touring internationally. Her voice has been featured on television shows such as American Idol, the American Music Awards, Dancing with the Stars, Ellen, Jimmy Fallon, David Letterman, The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Later...with Jools Holland. Acting credits include Boston Legal, 90210, Dinner for Schmucks, and Shameless. Additionally, Nayanna has been granted the honor of performing at the White House for President Barak Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama.
